Both Batman and Dracula managed to both be feared by the mass public. This movie isn't just about Batman and Dracula's physical battle, but also a battle between their individual ideologies. What really sells it though is Batman's arc. It's pretty grim and dark, and that's the charm of this movie. This is one of those horror movies that's meant to feed on your fear to the point where it feels like your soul is leaving your body. Now Batman must save everyone before Dracula rises to full power. This also includes Bruce's love interest, news reporter Vicky Vale, who he intends to use to resurrect his bride. Dracula then proceeds to turn everyone in the city into vampires for his army. While stealing treasure from the cemetery, he stumbles upon Dracula, and becomes his minion. The movie starts with the Joker breaking out of Arkham Asylum, which the Penguin uses to his advantage. Today, because Halloween is nearby, I will review the tie in movie, "The Batman Vs Dracula". While far from perfect, it did offer an interesting take on the Batman mythos. In 2004, there was a cartoon entitled "The Batman". Synopsis: "Batman faces off against Dracula." Director: Michael Goguen, Sam Liu, Brandon Vietti, Seung Eun KimĬasting And Voice Direction By Michael Hack & Ginny McSwain
